After successful book launches in Seoul, Beijing, Sydney, Melbourne and Brisbane, Sydney rock scribe and author Bob Blunt is coming to Adelaide on Friday July 1. He promises to take your mind off all the pre-election rev ups and instead focus on the world of independent media and books. With his fanzine now in its 30th year (check the book Blunt: A Biased History of Australian Rock) and his ESL experiences in Asia (The Year My Hair Fell Out) Blunt will appear in tow with Adelaide independent book publishers Paroxysm Press for one night only at the Metro Hotel. The line-up consists of Adelaide post-punkers Industrial Chaplain, local act Blackpenny, a book discussion with Bob Blunt and Radio Adelaide’s Tony Collins, as well as two spoken word acts, Kerryn Tredrea and Gemma Boyd (Paroxysm Press Spoken Word).
